How the system is put together.
What it is
The traditional seasonal setup, done for you.
Traditional holiday lighting systems use clipped C9 or C7 bulb strands along the roofline and gutter line, mini-lights wrapped on trees and shrubs, and lit wreaths or garland at entries. Unlike a permanent system, the hardware comes down after the season and goes into storage.

Control
Most holiday installs run on a timer set to your preferred on/off window; some homeowners pair the same timer hardware with app control depending on what's installed at the consult.
Install method
Strands are clipped (not stapled) to avoid roofline damage, tree wraps are fitted to branch structure, and the whole system is walked through with you before we leave. Takedown and off-season storage are part of the same service.

Compatibility
Clip-based mounting works across common roofline types — standard asphalt shingle with a gutter edge, and the deeper eaves found on some older or historic homes. The clip type and spacing get chosen for your specific gutter and fascia profile at the estimate visit, rather than assumed from a generic package, so the strand sits securely without damaging the roofline it's mounted to.
Maintenance
Hardware condition gets checked as part of takedown every year — bulbs, clips, and wrap material are inspected before storage, so anything that needs replacing is flagged ahead of the next install instead of discovered on install day.
That's part of why takedown is bundled with the service rather than treated as a separate task you have to remember to schedule.

Do you supply the lights, or install lights I already own?
Both are options — we can install a fresh set sized to your roofline, or work with lighting you already own if it's in good condition. This gets sorted at the consult.
What happens to the lights after the season?
Takedown and off-season storage are part of the holiday system service, so the same set comes back out again the following year without you handling a single strand.
Can trees and wreaths be included, not just the roofline?
Yes — tree wrapping and lit wreaths or garland are part of the holiday lighting system and get scoped at the same consult as the roofline strands.
What happens if a bulb goes out mid-season?
Individual bulb failures on a clipped strand are a straightforward fix — reach out and we'll address it as part of the service, rather than leaving a dark section on the roofline for the rest of the season.
Can the same hardware be reused year after year?
Well-maintained strand and wrap hardware is typically reusable for multiple seasons; condition gets checked at takedown so anything that needs replacing is flagged before the next install rather than discovered on install day.
